A big HELLO to anyone reading this! It has been a long, LONG time since I posted here and honestly, I don’t have a reason good enough to explain my disappearance for this long, both here and on my youtube channel. So let me just cut to the chase and tell you why I’m here. The last couple of days, I’ve been reading my previous posts and watching videos I uploaded on youtube eons ago (and some that I filmed but didn’t upload) and remembered why I started Chic Phenomenon in the first place. I may have been MIA on the webspace, but my love for beauty and fashion has only grown and I just cannot shake off the urge to pick up my camera again and document it. So after a 3 year haitus, I am back…and here to stay. I have tons of new posts coming up which are not limited to just beauty and fashion, but also cooking, DIYs, travel and life in general. I will soon be reviving my youtube channel as well. Watch this space for more!
I picked up ‘Tea Petal’ blush by MAC yesterday. I realised this morning that I was sold an expired product when I found some spots on the surface of the product, after which I checked the ‘date of manufacture’ on the box. I do love MAC cosmetics but selling an expired product reflects poorly on the company’s recycling policy and on the incompetency of the staff. I must say I am pretty annoyed that I have to go back again to get it exchanged but I’m glad I din’t use it on my face.
Do you remember to check the ‘Date of Manufacture’ everytime you purchase a product?
